E-bike riders are welcome to join.

Fall is one of the best times of year to ride gravel on the western slope of Colorado, a gravel riding mecca. Beautiful high desert gravel roads with incredible scenery are abundant. You are invited to join us for a fun group gravel cycling adventure on some famous routes in DeBeque Colorado. Roan Creek Bikeworks is a brand new bike shop in this unique western town and we will be organizing this ride with them. Please register on our website so we know you are coming, and share this with all of your cycling friends.

When: Saturday, October 7. Arrive beginning at 8am. Riders depart at 9am.

Where: Meet at our partner bike shop in De Beque, Roan Creek Bikeworks.

Ride: Approximately a 50-mile version of DeBeque classic V Road

Lodging: James Robb campground is nearby. Dispersed camping is available on BLM land near De Beque. Lodging can be found in Palisade, only 20 minutes away.

What to bring:

• Food/fuel while out on the ride
• Water
• Sunscreen

Snacks and convenience items are available at the nearby De Beque Country store (about a block from Roan Creek Bikeworks).

Details:

We will have mountain and gravel (electric and analog) bikes from Zinn, Lenz Sport, and Clydesdale Bicycles available at Roan Creek Bikeworks to try out before or after the ride. Zinn Cycles and Roan Creek Bikeworks will provide support by vehicle along the route. However, we recommend having your own repair kits on hand.
